Eel dishes are delicious. Staff speaks good english and are super kind. They have a cheap happy hour from around 4 to 6:30pm and are one of the few - and likely the best - restaurant open late afternoon. This is the place to end your day after seeing the sunset at the Torii or just spent some hour waiting for it.

Nice seafood restaurantMametanuki is a seafood restaurant in the heart of Miyajima. It's one of the few restaurants that are open late and you can pay using your credit card. We had eel, bowels, sardine sashimi, octopuss sardine.. As most places in Miyajima it's a bit overpriced, but the food was really good. The staff was very friendly too.

As Miyajima is very small island, finding Vegetarian food is very difficult but you can expect some tummy filling Vegetarian lunch here. Food was tasty.
